Update from Transition’s Emerging Hub - Let’s Grow Together
May is a season of growth — and together, we’re blossoming. There’s a real sense of momentum building at the moment, and we’re glad you’re part of it.
🌱 Shaping Our Future
Back in February and March, many of you contributed your ideas through consultations and vision sessions for our emerging Hub (a new collaborative space for Transition across Wales and England).
Thank you — your insights are now shaping our next strategy, which we’ll share soon.
In the meantime, here’s the vision we’re working with:
A relational network of Transition groups and communities in Wales and England — working together to reimagine and regenerate our world.
We’d love to hear what you think.

💡 Local Spotlight - Stroud’s Scooper Heroes

The Transition team in Stroud is testing something bold - Can dog waste be safely composted at scale?
With support from their local university and funding already committed by Stroud District Council, they’re now raising funds for composting and safety testing equipment.
It’s the first initiative of its kind in the UK — and a powerful example of local innovation in action.
Support or share their fundraiser — they have just 80 days to reach their goal
🌿 Let’s keep Going
And let’s keep growing — by showing up, supporting one another, and taking the next steps together.
Warmly,
Everyone in the team
