Just Transition Workshops Coming UP

Just Transition Workshops Coming UP
Join Mama D, Liba and Rakesh for their series of workshops in April and May

You’re warmly invited to be part of our upcoming workshop series, exploring the question “Who are we?” — and how deeper self‑understanding can help build collective strength and shared power.

These workshops offer a chance to meet, learn alongside, and be guided by members of Transition Together’s Just Transition Circle, whose lived experience will shape the conversations and reflections. Together, we’ll explore how we can support one another to do more — and do it better — in our community work and activism.

Who are we to What is this to us?

Thursday 16 April, 6.30-8.30pm

We have to be able to begin to re-examine who we are in the midst of uncertainty and the need to re-examine our values – which have been taken for granted. Yet, what is the impact of all of this on our relationships, with ourselves, each other and our communities and ecologies? How critical do you feel it is that we get to know ourselves again, properly, deeply, in these times of critical moral dilemma? Explore these questions and more with Mama D in this participatory and reflective workshop.

Collective Liberation

Tuesday 12 May, 4-5.30pm

Weaving threads of collective liberation through poetry, somatics, anti-oppression, plant medicine, dreams and community, Libaharan Ravindran will facilitate a session that will be embodied, actively participatory and respectful of all beings, to share his experience in relation with the Justice Transition Circle’s work.

Socio Crazy - Bringing Everyone with Us

Monday 18 May, 7-9pm

Join this interactive workshop exploring Rakesh’s version of sociocracy (affectionately called “socio crazy”), a practical approach to collective decision making that shows how we can move forward efficiently if we know how to work together.
