February Newsletter 2026
Members of the forming Transition Together Hub

Welcome to our first newsletter as a forming Transition Together Hub. We hope you’re doing well and are feeling like Winter is slowly making way for Spring.

Our group was first nurtured by Transition Together’s funded project (2021-2025), and is now fully run by Transition volunteers from across Wales and England. You can meet some of us here. Our volunteers continue to meet regularly - to stay connected and to help grow a thriving national Hub together.

This newsletter is dedicated to sharing our plans with you, and explaining the different ways your group can get involved in this exciting work.

Help shape our future
In 2026, we will be animating our Hub and opening up our working groups, or circles, so that others with energy and capacity can help us shape and evolve them.

We want to explore what this could look like by inviting you to contribute to a shared visioning process for the Hub. You may already have this invitation through a recent group email - but you are welcome to complete our short survey separately from your own perspective too.

  • Inviting you all to SAVE THE DATE:
We are planning an online evening meeting on March 11th with the aim of consenting to a new vision for the Hub’s work, based on this feedback. Please email us if you would like to come along to this.

What is a Hub anyway?
Transition Hubs are a formal way for people to come together to catalyse, connect, and offer support and training to Transition groups across a particular country or region.

There are already 25 other national Hubs around the world who together form an International Hubs Circle. By becoming a Hub, we hope to be able to join the international Hubs Circle, and be a vital communications and support bridge for local groups and projects in Wales and England.

We already have some local Hubs - in Scotland, London and Cornwall - but this leaves many outside these regions disconnected from the international movement. We want to change that.

Grow your international profile
TNi are running a new comms initiative to share more videos about Transition projects on their socials. If you’d like to submit something for your group or project, here’s a short guide with tips on how to record and send in videos for Reels.

Send your videos to comms@transitionnetwork.org and they will edit your clips into short engaging Reels to share across Transition Network’s channels.

Remember, you can get involved any time by reaching out to us on Vive - where you can access news from different Transition group sources - or any of our socials

You are also welcome to come along to one of our Transition Together Hub meetings - just drop us an email for dates and details.
